Although we have closed the doors of The Local Place retail store, we are continuing to support the many talented suppliers by offering their amazing products through our online store.

A BIT ABOUT THE "ORIGINAL" STORE....

The Local Place opened in December 2017 in Koroit, Victoria and was full of wonderfully unique products that had been locally made.

Over the 5 years we were open our product range grew to include sustainable, ethical and Australian made, with local continuing to be our main focus.
The evolution of the shop had been a natural one.   We introduced fabrics to our product range as we needed quality fabrics for the products we made in-house.  
We started making fresh produce bags which our customers loved.  That lead us to stock more sustainable products.
Our range of local preserves had grown our Providore section to stocking over 30 different artisans.

THE LOCAL PLACE ONLINE...
Although we've had to close our retail store, we are very proud and excited to continue offering many favourite products to you via our online store.
The stories behind each product will continue to be one of the unique offerings at The Local Place Online.   We are committed to sharing with our customers the stories of the who, why and where behind every single product.  Nothing is bulk produced and everything is mindfully made.
